Before Your Booking
To help make your session as smooth and comfortable as possible, please provide the full treatment address and a contact telephone number at the time of booking.
Please ensure there is enough space for a massage table, and have at least one large towel or blanket and one smaller towel ready.
These small details help create a calm, hygienic and safe space for your treatment, which is especially important during your recovery.
Deposits
A deposit of £35 may be required for certain bookings, but only if this has been agreed in advance.
Deposits are used to secure your appointment and will be deducted from your total balance on the day of treatment.
Cancellations, No-Shows and Rebooking
If you are not at home or are more than ten minutes late, your appointment may need to be cancelled. In this case, your payment or deposit will not be refunded, and the lost time cannot be added to your session.
If you experience any unexpected issues or are feeling unwell before your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible so we can find a solution that keeps your recovery on track.
You may reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your booking without losing your deposit or full payment.
Cancellations can also be made within 24 hours of booking without any charge.
If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before your appointment, your deposit will be non-refundable. For prepaid sessions, £35 (equivalent to the deposit fee) will be deducted from your refund.
These policies are in place to ensure fairness and to respect both your time and the therapist’s schedule, particularly as post-operative clients often need flexibility and consistency in their care.
Health, Safety and Client Responsibility
Before booking, please ensure you have been medically cleared by your surgeon or healthcare professional to receive massage therapy.
It is your responsibility to inform me of any recent operations, drains, dressings, open wounds or other health conditions that may affect your treatment.
Your comfort and safety are always the top priority. Lymf cannot be held liable for any complications that arise if medical advice or aftercare instructions are not followed.
During Your Appointment
Please ensure your space is clean, quiet and comfortable for your treatment.
I will always work around your comfort level and mobility to make the process as easy and relaxing as possible.
The therapist reserves the right to refuse or stop a session if there are concerns about hygiene, safety or inappropriate behaviour.
Aftercare
Each session includes tailored aftercare advice to support your healing and comfort.
Following this guidance helps reduce swelling, improve circulation and promote a smoother recovery. Consistency is key, so please follow any recommended routines or self-care steps between sessions.
Privacy and Data Protection
All personal information shared with Lymf, including contact details, medical history, photographs and treatment notes, is kept strictly confidential and stored securely in line with UK GDPR regulations.
Your information is only used for:
Managing and delivering your treatments
Recording progress and recovery notes
Contacting you regarding bookings, aftercare or important updates
Client information is never shared with third parties unless required by law or with your written consent.
By booking a treatment, you consent to Lymf holding your personal information for professional use only. You may request to view, amend or delete your data at any time.
Agreement
By booking with Lymf, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
