Why I Do This Work
I didn't come to this work just through training. I came to it through personal experience and that experience changed everything.
In 2018, I had liposuction for the first time. I didn't get the results I hoped for — not because of the surgery, but because of what came after. I had no real knowledge of post-surgical care. No MLD, no proper compression guidance, no support during recovery. I was left to figure it out alone, and I felt it in my results.
That experience sent me on a journey. I began researching everything; massage, wound care, lymphatic drainage, nutrition, compression garments, scar therapy, healing, you name it. I trained, I qualified, I learned from surgeons and specialists. And I applied every bit of it.
In 2023, I had liposuction again. This time, I did everything right. The difference was transformative. That contrast between recovering without knowledge and recovering with it is the reason Lymf exists. I know what it feels like to be on the other side of surgery, confused, uncomfortable, and unsure whether what you're experiencing is normal. And I know what it feels like to heal well, with the right support.
Every client I work with gets the knowledge, the care, and the expertise I wish I'd had.
My Qualifications and Experience
I hold advanced qualifications in:
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) for post-op recovery, swelling, detoxing and lymphoedema
Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage a sculpting technique that boosts lymph flow, reduces bloating and water retention whilst defining natural contours
Scar Therapy (trained at Restore Scar Therapy) specialising in the treatment of surgical scars, C-sections, fibrosis, and burns
ITEC Level 3 Massage
ITEC Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology
Active IQ Level 3 Sports Massage
Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release
These qualifications, combined with years of hands-on experience working alongside trusted surgeons in the UK and abroad, allow me to adapt every session to what your body truly needs at every stage of your recovery.
Specialist Post-Op Care and Scar Therapy
Over the years I've supported hundreds of clients throughout London and Essex, worked with clients who have travelled from abroad for surgery, and built trusted relationships with surgeons and recovery specialists to ensure every client receives consistent, well informed care at every stage of healing.
My training at Restore Scar Therapy has given me a deep understanding of how the body heals after surgery. I use gentle, effective techniques to soften scar tissue, reduce fibrosis, improve circulation, and support smoother, more comfortable recovery. I also provide clients with advice and guidance on caring for their scars at home because healing continues long after your session ends.
